Preparing for a two-transfer mission

I have already sent 2 sons on missions.
Preparing and packing for a 2 transfer mission is identical.

Same 10 white shirts, slacks, suit, shoes, even the sewing kit :)
Immunizations are the same
Renewal of your drivers license and getting your driving record.
Reading the Book of Mormon and completing all of the on-line videos-"The District"
Bringing "Jesus the Christ, Our search for happiness and the recommended books.
Learn about your family history and bring some stories
Get a non-video playing iPod for Church hymns

identical.

However, The one thing he didn't do was go the the temple for his endowment.
Not really sure why it's this way, but it is.  So we accepted this fact and just got going on completing the list.

A process that had started in October was now going to finally begin the last week of April.
Because we originally thought he would go sooner,  he deferred
his BYU semester.
It was a very long wait, since now there was nothing to keep him
super busy at home.
He had to deal with a kidney stone - no fun
We also decided to take him to New York for a quick trip
with dad's work.
On April 26th he was set apart as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints.

Again, the setting apart was a beautiful experience.  No different from my other son's.  He was now a full-time missionary and on
his way to the Provo, Utah mission.
The MTC experience would also need to wait.....
